The congress will bring together experts from around the world to exchange knowledge and share learnings across diverse disciplines related to genetic biocontrol technologies through courses, workshops, presentations, and symposia.<\/p>\n<p>The main theme of the event will be \u201cEmerging genetic biocontrol technologies: progress made in the science, research, testing, and environmental release of experimental genetically modified biocontrol products\u201d. The organization is calling for proposals centered around this theme and will be accepting abstracts until <strong>Saturday, April 15<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1970\" src=\"https:\/\/genedrivenetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/AGBC_call_for_abstracts_2023-acb.png\" width=\"500\" height=\"594\" caption=\"false\" srcset=\"https:\/\/genedrivenetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/AGBC_call_for_abstracts_2023-acb.png 681w, https:\/\/genedrivenetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/AGBC_call_for_abstracts_2023-acb-606x720.png 606w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Image:\u00a0African Genetic Biocontrol Consortium<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Consortium is accepting two types of abstracts: scientific and symposia abstracts.
