It will be an opportunity for diverse actors from the field of vector control to share experiences and lessons learned through plenary discussions, presentations, and workshops.<\/p>\n<p>Two types of abstract submissions are open. Scientific abstracts should fall within the following thematic areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vector bionomics: vector biology, ecology, taxonomy and population genetics<\/li>\n<li>Vector surveillance: surveillance systems, community-based surveillance, epidemiology, disease control programs and global health<\/li>\n<li>Precision public health and innovations for VBD elimination: artificial intelligence, entomological databases, genomic surveillance<\/li>\n<li>LLINS, IRS and insecticide resistance management<\/li>\n<li>Larval source management and integrated vector management<\/li>\n<li>New and re-emerging disease vectors, climate change, and One Health<\/li>\n<li>Neglected tropical diseases (NTDs)<\/li>\n<li>Social science: mainstreaming social science in VBD interventions<\/li>\n<li>Women in science: centering the role of the women in vector control professionally and in the community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Selected abstracts will be published in the annual conference program and the online abstract book.<\/p>\n<p>Submissions are also open for symposia to be presented in person at the conference.
